Founded in 1997 by Curtis Bacca, The Waxroom brings a level of skill and passion that’s helped athletes win Olympic Golds and World Cups. Curtis has tuned skis and boards for some of the biggest names in the sport—Seth Wescott, Lindsey Jacobellis, Kyle Rasmussen, Daron Rahlves, Tommy Moe and Zach and Reggie Crist, to name a few.
In his years on the road, Curtis saw a gap: ski shops weren’t tailoring their services to each skier’s unique needs. He started The Waxroom to do just that. Here, every board and ski gets expert, personal attention, from beginners to pros.
Curtis personally trains each member of our team, ensuring they bring the same precision and care that World Cup athletes count on. It’s what makes us a true “artisan” ski shop, setting a new standard in gear care.
